A November to Remember

There is light at the end of the tunnel because we have reached the end of flag football season!  Tomorrow is the last game which means no more scrambling around on Saturday mornings looking for socks, shoes, or the mouthguard.  Even better than that – no more waking up on Saturday mornings to discover that we forgot to wash the uniform from the Saturday before!!

There is light at the end of the tunnel because I’ve made it to November!!  November means Thanksgiving is coming and I can get a (much needed) break from school!  I’m looking forward to going over the river and through the woods to Grandma’s house.

There is light at the end of the tunnel because PB only has two more Sundays left at Ebenezer!  We visited Brentwood last Saturday for the first time. This time of transition has been and continues to be emotionally draining for all of us.  God’s plan is always what’s best for us, so I’m excited about what lies ahead at Brentwood.

There is light at the end of the tunnel because Cub 3 is so very close to being out of the diapers stage!  I’ll still be making weekly visits to Babies R Us, though.  If you know anything about the cost of diapers, wipes, and formula, you know how exciting it is when you get to scratch something off of that list.  For me, I don’t get to scratch diapers off of the list just yet, but it does mean I’m close to buying one box instead of two!  Whoo hoo!!

Hoping you all have a great week, and hoping the month of November brings about a change in this “blah” mood of mine.

Peace and Blessings!
