This is Day 24 of a 31-Day Series called Bear in Mind: Cubisms.
Have you ever had a day go by so extremely fast that something you did during the morning hours actually felt like it happened the day before? That’s what today felt like, and that’s when I know that I have been entirely too busy!
It was a good day, though! A small section of the day was spent at a skating rink for a birthday party that Cub 4 was invited to by a classmate. We had church school this morning and ended up being over an hour late for the party, but Cub 4 was still able to enjoy some playtime with her classmates. It was her first invite to a skating rink party and her first time skating. She did well with the little skating crutch to hold on to, but she was not a fan of falling down.
Cub 3, who also came with us, had an agenda today to skate! She started out with the skating crutch, but soon pushed it to the side. She started staying within arm’s reach from the wall for balance. By the time we left, she was moving around the rink pretty well and moving further away from the wall. Even when she fell down, she would laugh, but get back up again! I was so proud of her! Each time she took a lap around the rink, she became more and more confident in herself with less falls and more distance between herself and the wall. ***Sorry about the blurry pictures!***
The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked. Proverbs 24:16 NLT
