Over the weekend, we spent an evening with some of our church’s pastoral staff. We were all invited to a “Thank You” dinner in their honor for their service during Poppa Bear’s time away. My pictures didn’t turn out that great, but take a look at that delicious food on the kitchen island! Yummy!
While PB was on sabbatical, the best team in the world handled everything and more!
So, what’s it like being married to a preacher man? It’s wonderful to have a team of pastors, ministers, servant leaders, and staff who can fill in at a moment’s notice. They not only handle planned time away (like the sabbatical or vacations), but they also jump right in when emergencies arise as well. What a blessing they have been and continue to be for PB. Coaching basketball, attending recitals, or catching parent-teacher conferences wouldn’t be possible without them! We love them all and are forever grateful for their service to our church family and the Kingdom!
